Coaching Bio

I previously played for the Queensland Firebirds as a defender. Prior to joining the Firebirds, I played for the Brisbane North Cougars for many years and was lucky to be coached by the legendary Liz White. I have experience playing GK, GA and GD. Through my netball coaching, I would like to encourage young people and particularly young girls/women to continue participating in sport through high school and beyond because it has brought me so much joy and connection to community!!

I have played netball since I was six years old. Originally I played across both ends as a goal attack and goal defence and eventually settled in at GK when I was about 18 years old. Other sports I have loved to play include WaterPolo, Basketball and Touch Football, but netball was always my passion and I used to play in up to 5 teams at a time when I was in high school. I love to play sport, be active and my beautiful dog, Atticus.
