Australian National Volleyroos passer hitter, having competed internationally in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualification Tournament, World Grand Prix events, and Asian and World Championships for over 7 years. In 2015, at 17 years of age, I became one of the youngest players to make the Senior Australian Women’s Volleyball team. Coming from a track and field background, I was introduced to volleyball at 14, and rapidly fell in love with the strong team bond of the sport, its competitive nature, and uplifting community. As a junior, I competed in World and Asian Championships in beach and indoor volleyball, and was awarded ‘Australian Junior Volleyball Athlete of the year’. In 2016 I accepted a full scholarship to NCAA Division I Portland State University, where I was co-captain and captain of their volleyball team in consecutive years. I also earned Big Sky all-academic honours, as well as highest percentage scorer in the conference. In 2017 I transferred to San Jose State University in Northern California, to pursue a dual sport scholarship of Indoor and Beach Volleyball. I was in the 1s team for beach and captained the University’s most successful beach volleyball season to date. Throughout my playing career, I have been fortunate to travel to over 20 countries, while representing Australia in both the indoor volleyball and beach volleyball. These experiences have helped shape me into the strong and confident woman I am today, and am eager to continue mentoring and spreading positivity to the next generation through sport. I am currently working towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and am looking forward to continuing to compete in the Green and Gold. I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals, and growing to become better people, on and off the court. I am available for private volleyball coaching sessions on the Sunshine Coast, and can also arrange sessions in Brisbane throughout the week.

Her analysis of Amelia’s highlight reel was technically precise, age-appropriate, and delivered with real care focusing on development rather than hy ...
