I started netball coaching to give myself the opportunity to learn the game from another perspective and to give other athletes the opportunity to be their best. It taught me so much and has also changed the way I train and play today. I started coaching Net Set Go, to which I then advanced to holiday clinics and teams. I love coaching as it gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge but to also to learn from those around me. Coaching reminds me of why I love netball, in hopes to recreate that for others as well. I have played for the Northern Territory and progressed my way through the Victorian Netball Pathway so I have a unique perspective of what skills I have gained and had to use to get to where I am today. I have also been given the opportunity to train with some of the best coaches and players at the AIS underage camps. I am a defender on court so I will be coaching the defensive side of netball, whether it is inside the circle or outside the circle. I will coach individuals or small groups who want to extend their knowledge of netball and who are ready to try new things. I have been coaching for 3 years and have learnt more about the game than ever before and I am really excited to coach up and coming elite netballers!
