Coaching Bio

I am passionate about helping players develop and grow both on and off the Hockey field. I am currently a member of the 2023 Brisbane Blaze team competing in the Hockey One League and a member of the 2023 National Junior Squad (Jillaroos).

I grew up in Brisbane and fell into the sport of Hockey when I was 5 years old because my brother, sister and Dad all played. From there, my passion for the sport grew and I loved playing games, training and anything Hockey related. I was selected for my first Queensland team when I was 11 years old, and from that trip I met some lifelong friends that I am friends with to this day. I remember watching the Queensland Scorchers playing, and being inspired and driven at thought of representing that team one day. I am super excited and keen to spread my love for this great game with the community. Please note, turf hire is not included within the cost.

Georgie was amazing!! Georgie had a prepared plan specifically for my daughter and her skill level. Georgie was lovely and very professional. I would highly recommend booking in for a private lesson.

Laney really enjoyed working with Georgie and the way that she related instantly to her. They worked well together and Laney really got a lot out of the first session. We will be working with Georgie again. In Laney's words, she's pretty cool.

Georgie worked patiently and comprehensively to refine skills and techniques. She offered constructive feedback and engaged enthusiastically and positively with the pupil. Feedback from the pupil was positive, enthused and ready for more!
